After more than 15 years as a full-timer, I’ve recently started seeking and booking contract work. Here’s a quick look at some of the different ways I can help.
WHAT I DO
Creative Direction
A CD since 2015, I’ve pitched and led creative and design for websites, live events, video shoots, illustration libraries, rebrands… not to mention hiring, managing, and supporting the amazing people that bring it to life.
UX/UI Design
I learned to code in HTML and Flash, so that the designs would look right in build. We were doing websites, landing pages, rich display ads, the early days of branded mobile apps. I got into UX as a way to help connect the marketing leads, the creative team, the clients, and the end users. I love crafting the process from the wireframes to the motion specs to the final design, and then the listening, learning, and optimizing that comes after.
Branding
Before FedEx became the standard, the first logo I can remember “getting” was designed by a Brazilian creative genius – my mom. It was for my dad’s tire retreading business, and I’ve recently recreated it digitally. Years later, I started to truly understand branding in all its forms, from the logo, color scheme and deck template and all the way to establishing consistency across channels and languages.
Motion
My first love. Truly limitless storytelling involving craft, fantasy, and humor. I started in college with traditional animation, hand-drawing every frame and booking overnight time with the camera to shoot frame by frame. Soon after came After Effects, and 3D. From video editing to animated GIFs to figuring out automated ways to effectively execute global campaigns with thousands of assets, I still get excited about making things move.

After college, my first few roles were in agencies that specialized in Event Production. Keynotes, brand templates, pitch decks, business reports, creative presentations. From actual slides to Google Slides, the need to effectively communicate ideas never goes away.
